Daily Reflection #2 5/16/18
So today my group had all of first and second block to build our design. The day started off early for me. I came to school early and stopped by Vezinos class and helped him get ready for the day. I helped him by setting up all of the drill batteries to charge and I also went to the back of the school to pick up an extension cord for the power saw, and extra drill, and a couple of safety glasses.
When I got together with the rest of the team our plan for today was to finish all of the planter boxes of our design. We first collected all of our material and decided to build outside because of the extra space. We then started measuring and cutting all the pieces of wood needed for the planter boxes. Tyler H, Tyler B, Nathan and I then constructed the planter boxes.
Nathan and I then started to add the outer design to the bigger planter box. Nathan's specific job was to attach the design while I measured and cut the pieces for it. The plan was to complete all three planter boxes (with the outer design) and we completed about 25% of it. We ended the day by going to Jolly/Steinglass' class to finish the English final, return The Catcher and the Rye, and start on our daily reflections. We are following a little bit behind schedule. So far I think we still can finish but we would have to focus and not waste any time on the next building day. The good thing is that we have all day Thursday to build our design.
